PROGRAM EXAMPLES
Kubota Corporation is a tractor and heavy equipment manufacturer based in Osaka, Japan. They have two American headquarters in Georgia: KMA in Gainesville, GA and KIE in Jefferson, GA.
As a part of Kubota’s global out-reach executive training program, the company offers its executives English language training for four weeks in the U.S. In September 2018, Kubota selected the Atlanta English Institute (AEI) as its designated English language training school in the U.S. In AEI’s customized program, Kubota executives participate in the school’s Intensive English Program (IEP), taking courses for four hours a day, Monday through Friday. In these IEP courses, the executives work on all skill areas in English: speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. In addition, students participate three days a week in tailored tutoring sessions in Business English, focusing on business communication skills. The executives also have the opportunity to improve their informal English in AEI’s English Social Hour held for two hours after class and facilitated by AEI’s Student Life Coordinator. Finally, a student-specific progress summary report is produced for each executive at the end of the program. Student testimonials and photos are available on the AEI website and on Facebook.
