Linguaskill is an online external assessment that measures the English language proficiency of individuals or groups of students. It tests students in Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing.

The assessment exam is divided into three sections:
      • Reading and Listening (75 minutes)
      • Speaking (15 minutes)
      • Writing (45 minutes)

Linguaskill is perfect for:
      • Students who are currently enrolled in business education classes (C1 Business Higher)
      • Students who want another measure of their English skills
      • Students who want to pursue undergraduate or graduate degrees in the United States or internationally
      • Students and or professionals who require a certain level of English for professional and career purposes

Anyone who takes all three sections of the Linguaskill Assessment will receive an official Linguaskill certificate and score report with their CEFR score (A1-C2).          ***Registration for STEP will open in 2021 (TBD)

      • Early Registration: September 1 – October 1, 2020
      • Late Registration: October 2 – October 14, 2020

Centre Fees:
 • Each test has a fee for testing materials and administrative set up called the “Centre Fees.” Centre fees are $75.00 for early registration and $95.00 for late registration.

Important Testing Information
      • Plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to the test start time
      • Please note that a picture ID is required upon check-in
      • Cell phones, smart watches, and other electronic devices will not be permitted in the testing room
      • Backpacks and purses will be stored in a separate secured room
      • No refunds will be given
